Barnes County North

Library

Welcome to the Barnes County North library. This library page has been designed to help you find what is new in the library as well provide reference tools and resources to help you with your research projects and reading enjoyment.

My name is Beth Undem and I am the LMS (Library Media Specialist) for the district and teach some English and language arts classes. I have worked for Barnes County North in various positions since 1979.

I am sure you are going to have lots of questions and need help finding materials since we have combined two libraries into this fantastic new building. I am here to help you, so feel free to ask. I hope to make the library a central hub of the school and a place you want to spend time.

Barnes County North school district uses Accelerated Reader as part of its English/language arts curriculum and the library is labeled to help students find appropriate reading materials. The district also has several site licenses to help students with their research projects. Bookmarks are available in the library with the logins and passwords to use those sites while doing research at home.

You can make purchases at our Scholastic book fair by going to this site.

Remember the library saves Box Tops, Campbell's Labels for Education, and Our Family labels. Please send them to the library or mail them to the school. The money helps build our collection, provides prizes and activities to promote reading, and extras to help make the library more comfortable to our students.
