Make a Difference from the Sidelines—Come Coach With Us!
We are thrilled to announce that our school will be hosting a fun Bingo game for students in grades PK-12 on Friday, April 25th! The game will be played over the intercom in classrooms right after morning announcements. Students can participate in three rounds of Bingo with a free-will monetary donation. The peer leaders will be selling the bingo cards on Wednesday (4-23) and Thursday (4-24) of that week. High school students can purchase them in the morning in the commons. The peer leaders will go to the classrooms to collect money from the elementary students. Winners will go to the front office to claim their prizes. Thank you to BCN Student Counsil for providing the prizes!!
This event is hosted by our 6th grade peer leaders to raise funds for their service-learning projects. They have been making tie blankets and will be baking at the Ronald McDonald House, putting together birthday cake pans for the food pantry, and creating kindness rocks to place around the community!
The football meeting scheduled for today for 8-11 grade students has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. It will be rescheduled to a later date.
There will be no school or activities today at BCN.
All after school activities & practices have been canceled on Tuesday April 1st.

Great news! The NDHSAA has officially approved our emergency football co-op with Valley City, meaning we will be partnered for the next four years! The Junior Varsity & Varsity boys basketball games today against Enderlin have been postponed. A new date will be figured out. Also all after school activities have been canceled today.
The Junior High boys basketball game schedule for 4:30 Friday January 17 is postponed indefinitely. The Junior Varsity & Varsity boys basketball game is still on starting at 5:30 this afternoon.
We are excited to announce that Dr. Danielle Bosse, principal of Barnes County Elementary in Barnes County North, has been named Region 6 Principal of the Year by the North Dakota Association of Elementary School Principals (NDAESP).
This award recognizes Dr. Bosse’s outstanding leadership, unwavering dedication to education excellence, and commitment to student success.
As Regional Principal of the Year, Dr. Bosse will represent the district at the state-level Principal of the Year competition. It is with great pleasure that we congratulate Dr. Bosse on her well-deserved recognition. We look forward to celebrating her continued success!
