Tonight's Girls' basketball game vs Oakes is postponed to a later date due to weather.
Good evening. As a result of the icy road conditions, and the forecast for considerable snow and wind, Barnes County North school will be e-learning on Tuesday, December 13. The e-learning plans for both the elementary and secondary are posted on the BCN website.
Due to the incoming weather, the boys JV game scheduled for tonight will begin at 5:15PM instead of 6PM with the varsity game to follow.
This week we recognized our wonderful leader of BCN, Mr. Currie. Thank you for all you do!

Coach Steckler will have a mandatory player/parent meeting for all 7th and 8th grade boys playing basketball this season on December 12th at 5:30PM in the Tech Ed classroom. The high school boys team is playing Lisbon that night with the jv game starting at 6.

The Barnes County North’s kindness club, Kids 4 Kindness, held a cereal drive this fall. The elementary brought in 213 boxes of cereal. The collection was also a house competition. The blue house, Reveur, collected the most cereal with 63 boxes. Before the cereal was taken to the Salvation Army in Jamestown, the students watched the cereal boxes domino down the hall.

All after school practices planned for today are cancelled due to poor weather conditions. BBB players be on alert for a message from coach Schaffer concerning tomorrow morning's scheduled practice. At this time the JH girls basketball tournament scheduled to be played in Valley City is still on.
We are seeking stakeholder nominations for BCN Teacher of the Year. The person chosen will be put in for Barnes County Teacher of the year at the state level. Nominations are due December 31st. We encourage you to nominate one of our outstanding educators for BCN 2022-23 Teacher of the Year! So many great things are happening in our building that should be shared.
