Barnes County North School District #007 will hold its annual election on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 for the purpose of electing four members of the school board. Three positions are for a three-year term, and one position is for a one-year term.
Notice is hereby given that any person who desires to have his or her name placed on the ballot for any of these positions must declare his/her intention to the Business Manager by completing a Statement of Intent and Statement of Interests before 4:00 pm Monday, April 10, 2023. Forms are available at the Business Manager’s office or call 701-646-6202 to request forms.

Congratulations to Brooklyn Barclay for winning the 2023 BCN 7-12 Spelling Bee and to Ian Elston for placing 2nd. The winning word was thoroughbred. They will be representing BCN 7-12 at the Barnes County Spelling Bee on February 2nd in Valley City at 1pm at the HAC.
All after school practices and activities for today have been cancelled. Junior High Boys basketball practice tomorrow morning is cancelled as well.
